All about nutrition coaching
Nutrition builds into the plans you already write: Snap & Log photo logging, a verified food database, a daily Food Diary and food prescribed from the plan editor.
Nutrition in QuickCoach is not a separate tab bolted onto the side of the app. It builds into the same client plans you already write, so food and training sit in one place and you review both the same way. This article covers the full picture, with links to the detailed walkthroughs.
How your clients log food
Snap & Log Nutrition. Your client photographs a meal and it is identified and logged with estimated calories and macros attached. It is the fastest way to log, and it is the one that keeps clients tracking past week three. See how clients use Snap & Log Nutrition.
Food search. Clients search a library of over 2.3 million verified food items, each carrying calorie and macronutrient data, and log exact portions. See logging food from the verified database.

The Food Diary
Everything your client logs rolls up into a daily Food Diary, totalled by meal, which you can open from their profile without asking them for a screenshot. See viewing your clients' nutrition logs.

Prescribing food from your plans
The same 2.3 million item library works in the other direction too. Turn on Nutrition search in the plan editor and your task rows autocomplete against food instead of exercises, so you prescribe the meal in the plan and your client logs against it on their phone. See nutrition in client plans, and add images to your meal plans so clients know exactly what they're making.
How accurate is photo logging?
Photo scanning returns an estimate, not a label reading. It is accurate enough to answer the question you are usually asking, which is whether a client is eating roughly what the two of you agreed. For exact numbers on packaged food, the verified search is right there.
Common questions
Do clients need to install anything extra? No. All logging happens inside the QuickCoach app they already open for training.
Is nutrition included in Pro? Yes. Food search, Snap & Log, calories, macros and the Food Diary are all part of QuickCoach Pro. The one exception is barcode scanning, which comes with the Nutrition Booster Pack.
