QuickCoach Help

The QuickCoach glossary

A plain-English cheat sheet for QuickCoach terms: tasks, plans, variables, templates, history and more.

This is your cheat sheet for the terms you'll see across QuickCoach and how they relate to each other. If you think a term is missing, email support@quickcoach.fit and we'll add it.

Tasks and the task library

Task: a single item you create. It can be an exercise, a habit, a lesson, a recipe, a to-do, or just about anything else. A task can hold a Vimeo or YouTube video, a text description, up to three images, and an audio note (the audio note isn't saved to the library).

Task Library: where all of your tasks live.

Plans and the plan builder

Plan: a plan is made up of tasks and is the equivalent of a single workout. You can build plans from a client's account, in Plans Drafts, or inside a Program Template.

Plan Builder: the customisable place where you build plans. It looks a little like a spreadsheet.

Heading: text you add in the plan builder outside of a task, often used to separate sections of a plan. See headings and supersets.

Plan Notes: a space to share information about the whole plan with your client. It sits under the main plan builder for you and shows at the top of the plan for your client.

Supersets: a way to group tasks together. You'll see a purple band around grouped tasks in your view, and a coloured band (your theme colour, or purple by default) in the client's view.

Variables: the customisable column labels that tell clients what each piece of information means, such as Reps, Sets, Weight, TUT, Notes or Duration. You can have up to six and rename them per plan. Set your most-used ones as defaults to save time.

Program templates and plans drafts

Program Templates: a folder that holds multiple plans so you can assign them in batches. Build one once (a 12-week bridal bootcamp, a nutrition reset) and reuse it. Templates also work well for organising plans you pick and choose from, like knee-friendly workouts.

Plans Drafts: a holding space for plans that aren't assigned to a template or a client yet.

Client terms

Post-Plan Questionnaire: a set of questions clients see after they complete a plan. You choose the questions in your post-plan survey settings.

Results Box: the space clients use to share information about a task. It is limited to 50 characters and saves automatically as they type.

History: the record of what clients enter in the results box. Not every task is tracked. A task is only tracked if it was in your task library when it was assigned and the client typed something in the box. More in seeing history. Past Performance was renamed to History in 2026.

Client Link: the link you send clients so they can reach their account. Click the link to copy it, or the arrow icon to open the client's view yourself.

Client Welcome Email: an optional email that sends a client their account link. The wording is fixed, but you can customise the colours in your app settings. See sending clients their account.

Client Notes: a private space in a client's account for notes only you can see.
